For those of you who are unlucky (or lucky) in having a CompUSA closing in your state, below is a way to find out what kind of deals your old location may be having.

1. Get the store number of your location. Since CompUSA removed a lot of locations from the website, you can use the Web Archive @ www.archive.org. Below is the locations link for Washington State, so all you have to do is change the 2 letter state code on the end of the URL:

URL: http://web.archive.org/web/20060314050222
/www.compusa.com/locations/store.asp?type=&state=WA

On that list, you will notice on the left the store number. Please note this.

2. Take that store number and then change it on the URL below with your store number. Below is the example of the Lynnwood, WA (Store 790) location:

URL: http://www.compusa.com/specials/storeblowoutsale/blowout790.htm

3. Your all set! Now you know if it is worth your while to try to score some good deals!
